Mpume Nkosi joins Letsema
Mpume Nkosi has become the first woman group executive at management consulting company, Letsema Holdings. She has been appointed Head of Group Commercial, with responsibility for managing and leading the development of new strategic commercial opportunities for the group and subsidiary companies.
"My role to lead Letsema through the commercial landscape is an invaluable opportunity for me to expand my skills," she says.
"I am tasked with developing and implementing an innovative, growth focused commercial strategy, ensuring that profitable business growth is accelerated and commercial success is achieved. I am thrilled to work with South Africa's oldest home-grown management consultancy to realise its fullest potential."
Mpume is fascinated by language and culture, which led her to spend parts of her working career in Iberia, North America and Africa. She has a great passion for education and champions fundraising efforts for the United World College Trust in South Africa.
She joins Letsema from Barloworld Power, where she worked across multiple business disciplines, from operations management to sales strategy and customer success, equipping her with a diverse skill set.
Prior to Barloworld, she worked at Norton Rose Fulbright and the Africa-America Institute. She attained a BA Hons in Political Science from Wesleyan University and an MBA from IE Business School.
