Parmi Natesan to lead IoDSA


Parmi Natesan has been announced as incoming Chief Executive of the South African Institute of Directors in South Africa (IoDSA). She is set to formally assume the position on 1 April.

IoDSA is a non-profit company that represents directors, professionals, business leaders and those charged with governance duties in their individual capacities in southern Africa. The organisation offers its members governance guidance and director development and conducts board appraisals.

Parmi, who hails from Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape, currently serves as IoDSA's Executive: Centre for Corporate Governane, a position she has held since 2014. Prior to that she was an IoDSA Senior Governance Specialist.

Before joining IoDSA she spent eight years with KPMG, first as an audit article clerk, then Audit Manager and ultimately Senior Manager, specialising in Corporate Governance.

She holds a B.Com in Accounting from Nelson Mandela University.
